Takeaways:

It was a real thrill to see these wild animals up close, in the (mostly) natural environment. I say that because although Pilanesberg is 220 sq. miles acres and Chobe is 4500 sq. miles, which is a HUGE area, the parks are fenced in for the safety of both the animals, and the humans who live in the area. 

My favorite activity was the safari cruise along the Chobe River where we saw elephants, hippos, baboons, and crocodiles!
